Mobile diesel mechanic services Komatsu 36-ton excavator in Teesdale

Recently we completed a 500 hour service on one of our customer’s 36-ton Komatsu excavators.

The job involved:

  • Replacing the engine oil and filter
  • Replacing the fuel filters
  • Replacing the air filters
  • Replacing the final drive oils
  • Checking all fluid levels and condition
  • Greasing the machine
  • Checking over the machine for any worn or damaged components
  • Test running the machine to ensure everything worked correctly

It is very important to ensure regular maintenance is performed on all trucks and heavy machinery to ensure they keep performing at their best.

Most breakdowns we attend can be avoided with regular maintenance; a lot of parts that are nearing failure would be identified during maintenance which would give you the chance to replace the part before it fails causing your machine to breakdown.
