Major machinery compliance inspections Geelong
Have your EWP machinery thoroughly inspected by our qualified technicians and diesel mechanics at Sartori’s Mechanical Services.
Any EWP or crane over ten years old must have a major inspection in accordance with AS 2250.10-2006 and then five years from then on as required by law.
Sartori’s Mechanical Services performs compliance inspections on elevated work platforms (EWPs) over ten years old. These inspections entail disassembling, inspecting, and testing the machine’s critical safety components to ensure its use is safe. If any fractures have developed, we will repair them in order to maintain the integrity of the equipment. We provide major compliance services on various EWP machinery, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, tracked-mounted scissors, spider booms, cranes and truck-mounted travel towers.
What’s involved?
The machine is subjected to a thorough checklist of items and features that the manufacturer or an expert technician considers essential for the machine’s safety. This might include removing components and structural testing of welds and steelwork. A compliance plate will then be affixed to the EWP, stating that the inspection was completed. The owner will also receive documentation indicating the findings of all tests performed.
